So REPUBLICAN CHILD MOLESTER Mark Foley was called by Bush, Jr. personally the night before CAFTA to demand that he be the deciding vote. The bill only passed by one vote (217-215). How many other votes was he blackmailed into voting on?

Magster writes more.

Is there proof that he actually molested anyone? I haven't seen any yet, just talk about his attempts at seducing teen pages. Let's lay off the "child molester" epithets until we know that part is true, eh?

You're right. When Clinton was being accused of infidelity the Republicans were so strict about not presuming that he was guilty. We should return the favor.

If the idea is that we're better than that, then yes, we should be promoting truth. "Would-be child molester" sounds more truthful to me at this point.

I think we've gone too far in that direction and a little balance would be fine. There is "polite" and then there is "afraid of your own shadow."

He's a sexual predator and the Leadership covcered up for him. That gets the point across quite well without going beyond the truth and without invoking the 'gay male = pedophile' meme.

This is again a case where you are acting just like people you claim to loathe or hate. When you do this it detracts greatly from the good messages you also give, and makes people more leery of paying attention to your ideas.

I think you're a better man than this, and if, as I think is certainly a possibility, you're going to go into politics, you'd garner more points for always practicing what you preach.

That said, I do think that it's likely that many people in the Republican party structure knew about Foley to some degree or other, and what I've read of his purported chat sessions certainly puts him in a very dim light indeed.

I'm not making up shit to be funny or divisive. I'm saying this because it is true.

I will be vindicated.
