Ying told me: 1. My cable company is pulling a sports channel out of the family cable package to make room for the Disney channel. The Disney channel will be on channel 31. Religious Programming which was on channel 31 will now be found on channel 69. 2. That reminds me of (part of) a conversation I overheard today: Fellow geophysics teacher was teaching 4th period; I was in the prep room grading. "That's not the kind of facial I was talking about, Mr. Berger" said a young woman, immediately getting my attention. [There was some kind of comment from a student about getting his mind out of the gutter.] "You mean the kind with mud or clay or something?" Mr Berger responds. "You had a facial before, Mr. Berger?" 3. Did I tell you about the flier I got from the convenience store around the corner? "Cock $1.00" [I think they meant 'coke'.]

Once was the victim of credit card fraud. The charge was traced to an adult website, and the vendor name had the word "facial" in it.

He wasn't surprised that his card was misused (he did a lot of Internet ordering of non-pornography from small vendors) but he couldn't understand why the company had "facial" in its name. He was going on and on about it, wondering why facials had anything to do with pornography.

The nature of our relationship and when he was explaining this to me made it impossible for me to explain exactly why "facial" in this case was likely appropriate.
