Review: Cars

Not their best, but I had a good time.

The story didn't have the punch that their older stuff did. The animation was only interesting because I had watched the video pod casts where they talked about what the difficult parts were (hint: low the to ground, high-speed stuff).

I thought it was great! Two thumbs up. And it was the first time ever that I took my 3 year old to a movie. She loved it too. My only complaint was the 20 (yes, 20!) minutes of previews we had to sit through. I loved the bits that referenced NASCAR history and the pokes taken at current drivers. Marvelous!

Same here--we just saw it tonight and I hadn't laughed so much during a movie in ages! Especially during the credits! :-D
