Which carrier are you using? Do they support that use, or are you forced to work around it (like the VZW Treo 650s)?
I'd consider a 700p, but I won't buy anything but an unlocked (or easily unlockable) GSM phone at this point. What I really want is a Tungsten C2; thumb keyboard and WiFi (like the C), newer Palm OS and Bluetooth (like the TX), more memory.
Did VZW forget to cripple the 700p (or, less likely, actually decide to let their customers use a useful feature)? Their 650s won't let you use Bluetooth as a dial-up networking provider unless you install a small hack to re-enable the functionality.
They let you "decide" by paying $ for it to not be crippled.
When the nice woman at tech support was done helping me, she commented that it is such an exciting new feature. I corrected her and pointed out that Verizon was actively blocking that feature when their competition hasn't been for years.
