I've only watched 8-9 Buffy episodes so I figured I'd watch the closing show. I was really impressed!

I particularly liked the feminist statement that Joss made: men set up artificial barriers and when we realize this, the way to over come them becomes obvious: work as a community. It was an excellent way to end the show.

I had a very emotional reaction to the montage of little girls coming to power all over the world.

Me too.

It was the most powerful thing I'd seen on TV is ages.

It brought me back to when I took womyn's studies in college.

Since Bush's reelection (or fighting against his re-election) is so heavy on my mind, it also made me think about how disenfranchised the left has become and how we need to all realize what power we have.

Oh, you are so lucky I wasn't drinking anything just then. Or am I the lucky one? My keyboard thanks you, anyway.
