Mar. 12th, 2006 01:52 pmBush's domestic policy advisor, Claude Allen, resigned Feb. 9 "to spend more time with his family." Now the truth comes out: he was arrested for fraudulently getting refunds from Target and Hecht's for things he didn't buy, just took off the shelf and pretended to buy. It wasn't a mistake, unless someone makes that kind of mistake 25 times. Quite a takedown for a 'family-values' man, getting taken down for ripping off department stores for things that cost as little as $2.50. Yes, that's not enough to pay for a movie ticket. More on Allen here. And Bush is shocked -- shocked, I tell you -- to learn that theivery is going on around here.Remember how Reagan had more arrests in his administration than any other, and Bush, Jr. seems to have tons of problems in that area?
