Yes, we should start a third party. Not for us, but for the conservatives who are sick of being pushed around by the Fundies who are running the Republican party. That way there won't be enough of either of them to beat the united Democrats. Of course, the more difficult task will then be to get the Democrats to develop both a backbone and a message.
