The Bush administration spent the last four years moving funds from natural disaster prevention and relief to militaristic priorities like the Iraq war – a move that may be responsible for death and suffering along the Gulf Coast.

But... Shhh... the Republicans surely don't want to play the "Blame Game".. you know where engineers identified that the levees would only withstand a Category 3 Hurricane, requested money to improve them to withstand a Cat. 4-5, and because we have Bush's War going on in Iraq... we just couldn't fix things at home.

But hey... it's too serious to try and blame anybody... Just like 9/11 was too serious to try and point out that Bush had information before the terrorist attacks that could have stopped them, if not lessened the damage.. Nono.... they need people to be in a state of Fear, blame the Democrats, and get all the power for themselves...to what end? Lower taxes on the ultra-rich, our poor-class sons and daughters dying in a foreign country nobody really gives a fuck about...

Shh... No blame. But that's really what the Democrats need to do and need to push hard. Get people to remember come the next election in a year that this could have been prevented, and the people they elected could have done things differently, but they didn't...

I tell ya, for me right now "anger" doesn't even begin to describe it...
