Sex Boggle

This morning I invented a new game. I call it Sex Boggle because it's a lot like the word game "Boggle".

You and your partner each make a list of 5 sex acts you haven't done, or haven't done in a while. Do each do this in private before you come together to play the game.

Now meet somewhere (possibly a bedroom) and go over the list. Take turns reading out items. If the other partner's list also had that items, everyone marks this item with a checkmark. If the item was unique, leave it unchecked.

When you are done going over the lists, you will have items that are "checked" and items that are "unchecked".

Now trade lists. In private, each person circles one of the unchecked items that you'd like to do. Now re-join and do both of those items... tonight.

When you are done, run to LiveJournal and post about your experience in a reply to this message.

Less kinky version: Each person picks a checked item.

A lot less kinky version: just giggle about your lists and don't do anything.

Problem: This assumes the player (e.g., "you") have exactly one partner. You discuss handing off the lists "to each other." This does not work in the case of multiple partners. Do you hand the list off to each in series (and which first)? To only the player/partner on your left (or right)? (You do imply that multiple-partnered Sex Boggle play is possible. You just don't provide anywhere near enough framework for the underimaginative to play. The overimaginative folks won't need the game to begin with.)

What if you're currently partnerless (I hesitate to say "between partners" because, well, that actually could be fun)? Some things cannot be done both alone and safely, after all.

Even kinkier version: Create an open-ended free-form discussion poll, possibly limited-audience (how exhibitionistic are the players feeling?) as to what the actions should be, and then you and your partner(s) do them (modulo any safety concerns).

only another friend of Tom's could complicate things that thoroughly :-). I suppose if one did not have partner(s) one could do some sort of random generation thing with computer.

Well, I have helped Tom edit his writings in the past. (See? I complicated it thoroughly in only two paragraphs! Woo hoo!)

I don't know if I want to know what you're thinking of when you bring the computer into the picture. I've heard of "net sex," but, um, er....

Or you could do it randomly, I suppose; where each list is placed into an appropriate vessel and drawn randomly by the partners.

Or perhaps there are sex acts you would like to (or are able to do) with one partner or another, in which case you might make separate lists for each partner.

(I however am spending tomorrow with none of my partners, which means no boggle for me. Unless I find a worthwhile hookup, and I have my doubts about that.)

I don't know if that's better or worse than not having any partners with which to boggle. Like last year, my "problem" with playing the sex boggle game falls in the second paragraph to the top-level posting in this thread: No partner(s). This year I'm just getting over an illness so even trying to find a hookup, worthwhile or otherwise, is... let's just say "contraindicated" and leave it at that.

I've got the poly partner problem...long distance and/or partnered to other people who for the usual reasons take precedence over me for certain days.

I'm okay with it. I have a potential hookup if I want it. I'm just not sure I do...

I refuse to be embittered by my lack of company tomorrow when I do have partners who love me in my life.

Thanks, Tom! I told Heather about your game, and we each filled out a card with five items. There were no overlaps, and I couldn't remember the rules exactly, but suffice it to say, we found three items on the list that we tried right then and there. Other items on the list will have to await the purchase of some necessary props.
