GAP sells my favorite underwear. Sadly, it's quite expensive. (Though, I guess if I was going to sell used underwear on EBay then... oh, yeah, they don't let you sell that anymore.

Anyway... it was interesting that the "you may also be interested in" item was a $50 terrycloth robe. Would the typical GAP customer really buy such a thing?

1) I buy underwear on the web all the time. Just My Size has nice and comfortable stuff for my big round(ish) butt. It's so easy, it's almost scary.

2) People get past the no-used-underwear thing on eBay all the time. People violate the TOS there constantly.

I'd say it really depends on the bathrobe. I spent somewhere in the realm of $250-300 for this absolutely decadant amazing bathrobe in London. Very Thick Long Black uber comfy robe. Since I bought it I have lost 136 lbs. Which sucks because while I imagine I could get someone to tailor it down it's almost not worth it but it's way too big now. I found a nice comfy terrycloth robe at Marshalls for $16 it's thick and has a peach and white shell like pattern on it. But I can bundle up in it and it's comfy.

I think bathrobes are dependant on how you feel in them and what you need them for. I live alone so I don't need one for modesty sake and if I needed to take one with me somewhere for modesty sake I wouldn't take a big thick terry cloth robe. Mostly it's something I can wear if I need to feel wrapped up and cozy - but just as often I'll wear my feetie pjs or my sweats.

As I keep telling Jason when he complains about underwear-related finances, just start a website for yourself with appropriate photography (one of his sub-hobbies is taking naked pictures of himself, so he's got that part together already), then put your desired underwear on a wishlist there and sell your used underwear to your adoring fans. :D
