Jon Stewart was on Crossfire and gave them a smackdown. He not only said that CNN and Crossfire is hurting America, but flat out asked them to stop. Watch it all here:

NOTE TO ALL HUMANS: Jon Stewart is a comedian. His show is comedy. He’s supposed to be funny. Crossfire is supposed to be hard news and ask the difficult questions. Why does Daily Show cut the BS better than Crossfire?

They kept laughing him off. Thinking he was just being "silly Jon Stewart" when it was obvious to anyone With A Clue that he was being totally serious.

The transcript is hysterical but doesn't do justice to the actual performance. It's great to see Stewart, funny but at the same time earnest and totally sincere, completely confuse Begala and Carlson. A phenomenal show.

west wing and the daily show are the only two things i miss about having given up broadcast tv

fortunately, netflix is feeing my west wing habit but, anyone know where i can get my daily show fix? a quick look at comedy central's page offers up several interviews, but i'd like to see each complete show
