NEW JERSEY FOR DEMOCRACY Dear Folks, New Jersey’s Democracy for America is coming to Somerset County this Saturday in a camaign invasion to suport two of their targeted candidates: Steve Brozak for Congress and Nathan Rudy for Somerset County Freeholder (that would be me). Please come out and join us for a Saturday or politics and fun! As one of DfA’s targeted candidates, I would love to show off the great energy and support Somerset County has shown for my campaign this year.
We will be meeting at the Somerset County Democratic Headquarters [directions] at 10:00 a.m. to do some canvassing, voter registration, phone banking and more to help elect Steve and Nathan this year. In many towns we will also carry literature for our local candidates. Directions, lists, forms and training will be provided. After a couple hours of hard work, we will all gather together for a picnic at North Branch Park where we’ll have some music, some games, some food and some drink. We’re asking for $10 to cover some the food and renting the park, and for an optional contribution of $50 to either the Rudy or Brozak camaigns. It’ll be a rollicking good time with Democrats and progressive folks from all over the state. Campaign invasions are always a lot of fun, and I would love to see all the Somerset County Democrats and Democracy for America folks out there working to elect Democrats and then having a party afterwards!
