The Republican Contract With America

I was always jealous of the “Contract With America” campaign. It was so effective, and I knew it would be from the start. Put all your effort into one meaningless thing that sounded good, and let everyone in your camp hitch their wagons to it. Everyone rides to victory.

I’m starting to see a similar thing in the Dean Dozens campaign. Now if only we could make it much, much, larger.
