YouTube videos on LiveJournal

Often when someone embeds a YouTube video it gives an “video not available” error.
However, if I clicky-clicky to find the URL, and go directly to the URL, I am able to play the video from the YouTube.com web site.

Is this just a problem with my system or do other people see it?

First home video game in my house in nearly 20 years!

I haven’t had a video came console in my house for nearly 20 years. I realize that’s longer than a lot of LJers have been alive, but, alas.

My family had the original “Pong” video game in the late 1970s.

We got a Atari 2600 console Christmas 1980.

While I had a series of computers that played good games (VIC-20, Commodore 64, Amiga, DOS PC, Windows PC, Mac) I never really played many games on them.

Fast forward nearly 20 years.... I bought a Wii about 6 weeks ago. It has been wonderful.

This week I ordered Guitar Hero III for the Wii. I can’t wait for it to arrive.
