The weekend so far

It’s been a busy weekend of cleaning, web site work, and other stuff. I was “secondary on call” for two 5-hour periods this weekend, which means I had to carry a pager and respond if the person on “primary on call” wasn’t able to respond to the page. I used it as a fire-drill to make sure I knew how to do all the things that came up. It was also a fine excuse to be at the computer for some hours and force myself to do updates to the new web site I’m building for NJLGC (god, I need volunteers to help out. Especially with CSS, colors and graphic-buttons).

Fun stuff:

• Watched “Snakes on A Plane”: OMG what an awful/awesome movie. Well, at least I can finally say I’ve watched it.
• BBQ at a friend’s place: Got to see a lot of cool people including syringavulgaris, sweh, gmdraves, auntiemisha, and others.

Planning:
Don’t forget! My BBQ is less than a week (SATURDAY, Sept 8th). (I know most of you aren’t local, but I’m plugging it anyway).
