Tivo saves me time

I used my Tivo to record a show called "The Funniest Commercials You've Never Seen (and some that you have!)"

When I watched it, I found that Tivo had started recording during a commercial break. So I fast-forwarded over it. Then there was the announcer's sketch before they showed their first commercial, which I skipped. I then skipped the commercials. Then there were some paid commercials, which I skipped. Then I skipped more commercials. And on and on until the show ended.

Then I deleted it from Tivo.

I think I went through the entire 1-hour show in 5 minutes.

Total cultural assimilation

Yesterday while I (big Italian guy that I am) was coming out of a Chinese food take-out place, I looked to my left to see a Chinese woman walking out of the Italian take-out place next door.

Assimilation complete, Sir. What's our next assignment?

I got my passport!

Did I mention that I'm going to Australia? Did I mention that I applied for my passport?

I got the passport in the mail yesterday. I'm psyched! I've never had one before.

So, anyone have advice for a bi poly nerd spending a week in Melbourne and then a week in Sydney?
