Some of you may already have seen this, but it's not getting anywhere near the attention that it deserves. Apparently forgetting that part where it says "the pursuit of happiness" and that whole checks and balances thing, the House is trying to sneak in legislation that would prevent federal courts from hearing cases challenging the validity of the Defense of Marriage Act (and of course, anything else that infringes on basic human rights. Why would we wanna stop with just the queers?). HR3313 is one of three acts that need your full attention (if you reside in the US, that is). The debates will start next week.
