Ooh, the person who said "no one knew much about AIDS in the Reagan years" pissed me off. I had to restrain myself from typing in the entire 111 page chapter of _The_Coming_Plague_ (and it might've been even more if I still had a copy of _And_The_Band_Played_On_ with its moving depiction of Reagan's silence).
