To celebrate Earth Day, Apollo supporters are writing letters to the editor, speaking on news programs, and educating their friends about the need for good jobs and clean energy. In today's New York Times, columnist Thomas Friedman writes about the economic importance of investing in energy alternatives. The Apollo Alliance is building a movement throughout the country around the need for good jobs and clean energy. Last week, Apollo supporters Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-WA) and Rep. Jay Inslee spoke about the need for an Apollo Project.
