What does "jumping a shark" mean? He's been a fucking asshole since he ran for governor, and it's gotten worse since he elected himself God, but I'm not sure what that has to do with sharks.
Many people felt that the TV show "Happy Days" went down hill when Fonzy "jumpped the shark". That was the defining moment that said the show is "over" in terms of quality.
