Ann Richards is fabulous. I'd love to see her back on the national political stage (say, maybe Dean could pick her as his running mate?).

The sweetness of that concept is the history between Ann and Dubya. (Not to mention that I just think that Ann is awesome.) But I'm sure that her age would be a factor in such a situation.

Yeah, I know. Age is the major factor against her. (The alcoholism in her past would be a nonissue on the national stage.)

She's not young ... but if I'm doing my math right, she's now about the age Reagan was when he took office.
