Not just no, but hell, no. I'll quit this industry and become a waiter before I use something like that.

I'm in the middle of moving apartment, and having to sort through a gigantic pile of stuff to find the thing I want, or verify it isn't in that pile'o'junk, is tiresome enough.

I can't imagine how frustrating it would be to have to do it on my computer, working through a mouse (of course) using some jerk's idea of physics.

It is a nifty way to sort and organize icons. But I didn't see anything directly about browsing or searching, with is where GUIs need the most help. This is what the new WinFS is supposed to do (though it is way behind schedule) and what Oracle has been working on for a long time too.

It's certainly been rumored that Apple is working on a piles interface for a while now.
