Oh, and I wish I could find it for you, but there was an interesting statistic I read the other day related to the fact that Democrats tend to get elected from more populated, urban areas and Republicans get elected from less population-dense areas. The statistic showed that while the Republicans held the majority of seats in both houses of Congress, the number of votes that sent each party to those seats fell HEAVILY to the Democrats. So a minority of lawmakers are representing a majority of the population. Great. *headdesk*
