Your assessment of the situation is dead on, in my opinion. Only far superior skills at the winning of elections could explain why such a big part of the country would vote for an administration that does NOT have their best interests at heart.
What troubles me is that I don't see any sign that the Democratic party is going to learn anytime soon how better to win elections. And to stop the current trends of mismanagement, misinformation and overall ugliness in our federal government, that MUST change. If the Democrats don't figure out a way to pick electable, but suited for governing, candidates in the upcoming midterm elections and in the next Presidential elections, I fear that our country is done for.
Someone PLEASE start telling these folks how to pick good opposition to the highly marketable Republicans. PLEASE!
