While my home PC is a Windows box, my laptop is a Mac. So I really don't care about this too much until the mac version ships, or the PC version can burn CDs. (time to buy a lot of rewritable CDs!)
Of course, if I can't play the CDs on my Mac, it again makes it worth waiting for the Mac version.
If your Mac has a DVD player, there are ways to burn DVDs with existing technologies. Grab TMPGEnc to make an MPEG, then use NeroVision Express to create the DVD. Read more here (http://www.livejournal.com/community/tivolovers/115223.html).
