C wanted to have a party to kick off her week of vacation so with only one week’s notice we announced a party at her place on Saturday night. Nobody was RSVPing “yes” on evite.com when we realized that the night we picked conflicts with Passover. We figured that was why.

So we cancelled.

Moments later we got a bunch of emails from people that wanted to come. So we had a very small party (8 adults, plus 3 children brought by one of the couples) and it turned out to be just the right size.

C and I made pizza from scratch (I did the difficult tasks like shredding the cheese, she made the dough from scratch). C made her famous sangria (wine, brandy, fruit, let it sit over night).

Oddly enough some of the people that did show up were Jewish. So when we sat down for dinner I turned to one of the children, handed him a slice of home-made pizza, and asked him, “Why is this pizza different from all others?”

My top picks from http://www.findyourspot.com/

Wow, someone from Louisiana or California must be paying these people a lot of money. Could you imagine me living in Louisiana???

It’s a hoax! Didn’t I predict this?

It just had all the markings of a hoax.

Suddenly my yahoo account is saying my password is invalid.

Is this a system-wide outage or am I really locked out?

Tom

[Update: I'm convinced my account was hijacked. I'm trying to work with Yahoo to get it back. ]
