Some of the print media reviewed the Obama keynote based on the pre-distributed copy of the speech and totally missed out on covering the deep emotional response of the audience. Others covered with shock and dismay that Obama’s keynote was actually... a keynote! Shock and amazement!

But the best coverage was Mathew Gross’s ‘Reviewing Obama’. Read it and see.

Went out to dinner with local friend Glen. It was really good to hang out with him and catch up.

Later we went to a party at the conference for the O’Reilly authors and speakers. I brought Glen along with me and introduced him to someone that I thought should hire him. They eagerly exchanged biz cards. I like when that happens.

After Glen left I stayed at the party for a while chatting with people. Then I went to my hotel room, watched the John Edwards speech at the DNC (it was AWESOME) and went to sleep.
