iChat A/V audio conferencing from New Jersey, USA to London, England works over a crappy, overloaded, internet connect. I hear people extremely well, even with the built-in Mac Powerbook mic. Oh, and I'm doing that over wireless (802.11)

Meanwhile, I have a Vonage VoIP phone plugged into the same network, except it's a hardwired connection (not wireless) and its staticy and difficult to hear the other person most of the time.

How does Apple do their magic?
