Standing in a circle for Obama

Today at 7:30am I was at Union Square Park in New York for the filming of an Obama commercial. It was in the style of “Improv Everywhere” (but not an official IE event). ”They want to get people to come together on camera and spell out “Obama”, seemingly spontaneously, in Union Square.’

Luckily it takes me only about 35 minutes to get into the city by car in the morning when there is no traffic.

I was impressed that they had 4 high-end cameras (like that TV crews use), walkie-talkies, and the whole shebang.

When the video comes out, look for me in the upper right part of the “O”.

Obama filmed a commercial at Mol's school this week. I should post the story sometime. He filmed in the 7th grade hallway while the kids were in class. She's in 5th grade but takes 7th grade math and they had to arrange a whole special escort past the secret service for her. She felt very important.
