it's cold in the US, too.
in fact, it's about to snow Yet Again today. and tomorrow. and on Wednesday.

This is why I have no immediate urges to move back to the Right Coast. Here in Pacifica it's sunny and in the 60-70s during the daytime. Actually, it's warmer in winter than it is in summer, due to the summer fog.
