Me too. I think I may re-watch it later and see if I can sort it out.

Not just weirded me out, but made me so uncomfortable as to want to turn it off in places.

I actually thought....

... that they were going to kill David off, which would then, again "force Nate to return to the family business due to the death of a principal", and generate sort of a recurring theme there.

One thing I did notice, though, is that for an investor in the home, Ma Fisher doesn't seem to take much notice or care in its operation. They sell a share to Rico. She doesn't speak up at all. One of the partners (David) walks out, she doesn't speak up.

Almost as though the writers completely forgot "hey, Ma's got a significant interest in the company".

ya, it was really painful.. even in the shock that David was probably in, there were several times where he could have taken some sort of action.. (driving off, kicking the guy, anything really other than just going along with things..)

It was the first time I've watched the show and really, really not liked it. Some of it, as tcb said, didn't seem credible ... JB thought it was poorly written. I tried to understand David's state of mind, but at some points, I had to leave the room.

eep

YEAH!

I was totaly freaked out too. We were sitting here with out faces in out hands, like "WHAT?" the whole time. I can't believe he smoked crack!!! What made it even more creepier was the the lack of commercials. It just kept on going and going.....

I've watched SFU since the first episode, and this episode really bothered me. I suppose as the viewer you were supposed to feel powerless along with him, but there were too many times where I felt he should have tried harder to get away. This season just seems kind of ho hum to me, and I don't WANT to feel that way about this show because I have really enjoyed it up to now.
