Yeah, I knew Carroll as a good freind of a good frend when we were all in our early 20s. He was pretty awful. Others whom I knew personally in those days included Wisniewski and Ellen Karcher, who were quite the item back in the day. He was a friend/ally, but not someone trustworthy. She I knew mostly through him. I think she did well to be rid of him.
