If Dems acted like Republicans

When Bush said (this week):
``I have made very clear to the Congress that the use of taxpayer money to promote science that destroys life in order to save life, I am against that,’’
...every Democrat would be on every talkshow with a unified message: Bush is against saving lives.

When Bush says

people over 55 have nothing to worry about, they’re benefits will not be reduced at all.
...every Democrat would be on every talkshow with a unified message: Bush admitted he’s going to cut Social Security Benefits!

Luckily that is definitely changing. Did you see Dean on Meet The Press this Sunday?

No, but I did see the report of Dean at the Massachusetts Democratic convention doing a fine bobblehead act as the state committee completely stripped the delegates of any control over anything. It was a total and utter coup by a 'centerist' cabal to wrest any possible power away from progressives now and forever. There is no reason to go to convention ever again. It's the end of the Massachusetts Democratic party as we know it. Grrrr!

OK, OK, no, I didn't see Dean on MTP. What I've read about it sounds inspiring to me. Let's hope that George Galloway's rant in the Senate has convinced the Democrats that it's time to stand up and speak truth to tyranny.
