Does anyone from Apple Computers read my LJ? Can anyone put me in contact with the OS X Server people? I'd love to visit them, give them some free copies of our book, and discuss future directions. I'm getting a lot of experience with their system, I really love it, and I have some "in the field" reports of what would make it better.

Er. Do you mean hardware or OS?

What sorts of things?

I'm starting to work on my new OSX server at work, and am curious about your observations.

Sadly, I have no OS X Server ins at Apple.

BayLISA is currently holding meetings at the Apple campus. Try one of their mailing lists, notably the BLW list, and I'll bet you can find a contact for our sponsor. A few people from this very group, IIRC, came to one of our early meetings there. (Or it might have been the XServe, i.e. hardware, group.) They seemed quite receptive to such ideas, anyway..
